The Ascent Movement
The Ecclesia Network is the church-planting arm of a larger movement called Ascent.
Most of our partnerships (and the benefits extended to Ecclesia Churches and leaderships) come through being a part of the Ascent Movement.
Ascent maintains a network of services with a shared theological and missiological DNA, available to Ascent-connected churches and ministries at discounted rates. Since every Ecclesia church is Ascent-connected through Ecclesia,
each of these is an Ecclesia member benefit.
Capital Campaign Strategy and Management: Discerning Partners is a capital campaign consulting firm for churches and nonprofits, providing campaign readiness studies and full campaign strategy and management, with each campaign shaped to the congregation's own culture and capacity.
Web, design, marketing: Solid Creative is the primary web development partner for our Network. Ecclesia churches receive a 15% discount off standard costs for everything from a new website to a fully integrated media platform.
Seminary & Theological Education Network:
The Church in North America requires a deep well for theological education and the flexibility of creating pathways for leadership preparation in innovative ways. We are proud to have a growing number of affiliated and cooperating seminaries and theological institutions part of the Ascent Movement. Many offer discounts and particular benefits for Ascent/Ecclesia-affiliated churches and leaders.
Starting in late August 2025, we are offering a pilot year of our First Seminary Initiative which is designed to provide high quality, accessible, and affordable theological education. Publishing: Invite Ministries is the primary publishing partner for the Ascent Movement. Their Ascent related resources, as well as other resources curated by Ascent and it’s partners, can be found on their web page or in our shop.
Staffing: Ministry Connections, a free listing of open ministry positions maintained by partner Truett Seminary, gives churches a no-cost place to post and find openings.
