In perhaps one of his most memorable statements during the Sermon on the Mount Jesus relays that there is a “broad road” and a “narrow road” that people may choose to walk. One way leads to life and the other toward destruction.
In our current time, it can seem like helping people discover the true way of Jesus is more difficult, as even the church itself can often appear to be following down the broad way. Yet, the way of the kingdom is meant to be found – first by us – and then by those we help to find it.
ENG: Multiply 2027
At the 2027 Ecclesia National Gathering/Multiply Summit we will be inspired to walk the kingdom path to true life, even if it requires commitments that are out of step with the norms of our day. We will also be challenged to help create more opportunities for our friends and neighbors to take the road less traveled into the life of the kingdom.

Rich is the Lead Pastor of New Life Fellowship in Queens, NY. New Life is one of the most multi-cultural congregations in one of the most diverse communities in North America. Rich is a frequent speaker and prolific author, known throughout North America for his emphasis on emotionally healthy discipleship and contemplative spirituality.

Our Speakers
Dr. Eliseo Mejia
Rev. Dr. Eliseo A. Mejia serves as a global coach, writer, missiologist, pastor, and church planting leader. As the Director of Fresh Expressions—Expresiones Divinas and the Ascent project leader, he leads multiplying congregations and leaders. His deep commitment to these values is not just a part of his work, but a reflection of his character. As a servant of God, he has a deep passion for Christ and a thirst to know and be like Him.
He shares knowledge and wisdom as a teacher at Asbury Seminary in Willmore, Kentucky, and United Theological in Dayton, Ohio.
With God's help and an exceptional team of leaders, church planters, and pastors, he has planted churches in Kentucky, and across the nation. Additionally, he has assisted emerging and experienced Leaders over the past 33 years in the U.S. and internationally.
Academically, he holds a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (1986), and he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Seminary on May 20, 2017.
Miriam Swanson
Miriam has been equipping local churches to love, reach and disciple university students through the Fusion Movement for over a decade. She moved from the UK in 2019 and is now pioneering Fusion USA from her home in Florida where she lives with her husband Ben, and two small children. She travels to speak and train the church internationally, is passionate about mission and raising younger leaders, and adores this wild new adventure of being a mum.
Paul Maconochie
Paul is a pastor from England, who was a part of the team that helped to develop the missional ‘Lifeshapes’ tools that are used in Uptick and many other missional initiatives.
He was the lead pastor of Network Church Sheffield, UK, which developed innovative models of mission and discipleship that have been used in ministries around the world. He then went on to found 3DM Europe before coming to the USA in 2014 to lead 3DM North America.
Paul has been member of the Uptick Board since 2015. In 2021, he joined the Uptick team as a program convener, and in 2023 he assumed the role of Uptick Director. He is also a Pastor at Grace Gathering Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Heron in Alexandria, VA is the Multiply 2027 conference hotel. It is conveniently located across the street from Old Town Community Church in Old Town Alexandria. We have negotiated a highly favorable rate of $179/night for a standard room and $199/night for a double queen room. This will be your easiest and most convenient option. The Reagan National Airport is approximately 15 minutes from Old Town Alexandria and the D.C. Metro runs around the clock from Regan to Old Town. Dulles International and Baltimore-Washington International are also located within a reasonable drive of Multiply 2027.
