A New Community
Location: Dallas, TX
Sensing the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit, a small group of people stepped out on faith to form a new church in North Dallas, A New Community. Our community consists of homeless people living in Dallas shelters, folks from transitional housing, Africans who have relocated from Cameroon, Togo, Liberia, and people living in the suburbs of Dallas. In a very humble setting of a warehouse, we gather to worship each week. We believe in a strong community that shares all aspects of life together: the struggles, the disappointments, the celebrations, and the transformation of lives through Christ. Our strong diversity allows us to embrace our differences and cherish our common faith.A New Community is the place “where God’s great mercy and the world’s great hunger meet.” It is a place we seek to be Christ to our community and to each other. We are led pastor Kathy Keasler.

Crossroads is striving to be a missional church. We understand the privilege that Christ-followers have of being Christ’s representatives in our world, and we are hard at work on the process of making the sense of always being “on mission” with God an increasing reality in the every-day lives of our people. At Crossroads, encouraging our people to understand, embrace, and grow in their practice of being on mission everyday takes a variety of forms.

Located in North Los Angeles County, the Antelope Valley is a decentralized suburban community, full of some of the worst urban problems in all of LA and is surrounded by a rural desert landscape. Our church fully reflects this diversity in its composition. We value that Kairos is made up of teenagers, immigrants, bankers, ranchers, homeless, elderly, and children. We are expressing the kingdom of God through a network of neighborhood churches in the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles.

New Denver Church
Location: Denver, CO
Denver is a great city. Thriving culture, amazing weather, and of course, magnificent scenery. But the people of Denver are great too, and we believe that God is extending his transforming grace and restoration to the thousands of people that call Denver home. We want to be part of that vision and mission, creating a local community of people who follow Jesus, embody his grace, and extend his love to the whole city.
The mission of New Denver Church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We don’t believe a church is simply a building or set of programs but rather a community of people. Our prayer is that this new community of people will be known by their authentic relationships with one another and the way they share God’s love with the people of Denver. We also believe that those who have never been a part of a church like this should experience acceptance, grace, and ultimately, what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.”

You’ll see older children caring for the younger ones, college singles mentoring youth, young parents gathering over their kids, and everyone enjoying each other’s strengths and differences. We desire deep connection with one another and the world, and are always looking for how God is working in life around us. For those who like definitions, we are an interdenominational community of believers- united by our pursuit of following Jesus and becoming more like Him.

Location: Miami, FL
Rhythm Church began brewing about three years before it was actually planted. That’s when a circle of friends in Miami began feeling that God was calling us to give birth to a fresh expression of the church in the future. The simple question we began with was, “What does it look like to follow Jesus in the place and time?”
“As one of our leaders headed off to seminary, we decided to meet up every six months or so for a retreat. We shared meals, laughed, caught up on stories, and pressed into God seeking vision about the future. When our church officially went “public” we met in a home for four months before moving into a church building next to the University of Miami. A handful of families within the community are in the process of relocating to this neighborhood. We want to commit to a people and a place. It seems everybody is into upward-mobility these days but we feel Jesus calling us to practice downward mobility; to live close enough to share possessions, have common prayer times, and help raise one another’s kids. We like the idea of a network of neighborhood churches working together – so once we have enough people coming to our church from another part of the city we’ll look at starting a neighborhood church there.
We chose the name Rhythm because that single word describes the sort of common life we’re seeking. Through daily and weekly practices we’re trying to align our lives to a common rhythm – a rhythm that’s in tune with God’s kingdom, that revolves around worship and mission, loving God and loving others. Rhythm is co-pastored by Keas Keasler and Matt Alexander.

Our unique structure involves alternating expressions on weekends between our large group gatherings and our house churches scattered around the region – and we have but one rule: no perfect people allowed.
